Mrs. Annie G. Gillham, who recently

filed suit for divorce against her husband, Walter L. Gillham, manager of the

Southern Photo Material company, was awarded $50 per month temporary alimony

and the custody of her children, by order of Judge Pendleton, in the superior

court, Friday.

Mrs. Gilliam, in her recent divorce

suit, which is now pending, declared that her husband was an habitual drunkard

and had on more than one occasion tried to kill her. She averred that the

husband all but deserted her and her children and left them without support.

She stated that her husband warned about $126 a month, and that she sought a

total divorce and attorney fees.

Judge Pendleton

Friday ruled that Gilliam pay his wife $50 per month alimony until the case is

brought to trial, that the husband pay her attorney fees of $12.50 in monthly

payments of $5, and awarded the custody of the children, of which there are two

to the mother.
